Scientists calculate the EXACT risk of having a heart attack or stroke if you take ibuprofen or four other popular tablets…
The heart dangers of ibuprofen, celecoxib, mefenamic acid, diclofenac and naproxen – taken by millions worldwide to dampen pain – have been assessed.
Taiwanese experts have concluded that the five different tablets could all affect the heart within four weeks, but some are more dangerous than others. They assessed the odds of a major cardiovascular event for each of the popular painkillers, using data from 56,00 adults with hypertension – high blood pressure. Continue reading
People who refuse chemotherapy treatment live on average 12 and a half years longer than people who undergo chemotherapy, says Dr. Jones.
According to recent statistics, approximately 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will develop cancer in their lifetimes. This saddening reality is made worse when it is acknowledged that modern methods of ‘treating’ the disease are often ineffective and only make the symptoms of the disease worse. In fact, according to one Berkeley doctor, chemotherapy doesn’t work 97% of the time. Continue reading
The same pharma companies that profited from the opioid epidemic in the US by hooking patients on their drugs are profiting again as their victims migrate to heroin and participate in needle exchange programs, an attorney told RT.
The opioid epidemic is one of the biggest stories of 2017. The number of people dying from big pharma’s prescription narcotics has skyrocketed. But the same pharmaceutical companies that profited from creating the crisis in the first place, and received a slap on the wrist for it, are now profiting from it again, attorney Peter Mougey said in an interview with RT America’s Mike Papantonio. I lay the FAULT of this kind of Big PHARMA murders right at the feet and laps of the entire medical profession. I have yet to meet any doctor or all those TV mouths on the so called *news* stations who are constantly hammering folks to get the Flu Shot or some other Big Pharma concoction and REFUSING to tell folks about the pH balance that PREVENTS the viral and bacterial illnesses. The goal is to make MONEY and the information on how to PREVENT an illness does not make them any money – the FACT that those Big PHARMA concoctions kill people is never mentioned until enough of them die that it has to be reported on. More treatment. Stronger oversight. And above all, bolder leadership.

This following article lacks understanding of cause and effect. The government caused the opioid crisis. They made pain the 4th vital sign. Every clinic and hospital was evaluated, surveyed, and rated on whether a pain score was done on each patient and if the pain was helped by the doctor. Ratings and financial rewards were tied to the outcome. ( sounds like the VA scandal doesn’t it? ) Every doctor with a working brain thought this was foolish and would lead to addiction. The Electronic Medical Record has continued this as a performance standard. Babies have their pain score recorded in ER notes. Here is my solution: 1. Dump the pain score. 2. Dump the EMR that depersonalizes medicine. 3. Teach your children that pain during life if normal. 4. Stop pretending that we can prescribe narcotics and they will not be addicting. ~ Rosemary Stein, MD

This is well known among natural and alternative health care practitioners and people who have taken the time to do any homework (very few), but this is simply more proof piled on top of what we already have known for years. But don’t expect anything to change – we are talking about hundreds of billions of dollars at stake, so Big Pharma and the medical establishment will never stop doing it their (very profitable) way.
Forget about that physician’s first oath you’ve heard about – “Do No Harm” – for it no longer applies. They should change it to “Do Comply with The System’s Protocols” and be honest.
There are many natural and effective ways to fight cancer, but thanks to the medical monopoly, hardly any alternative cancer therapies/treatments are covered by insurance. ~ R. Mish
BEWARE of the Boogieman in White Jackets: Although I am no “medical” expert by any stretch of the imagination, and the following would appear to be well researched – the information provided would seem tainted – given the abundance of opposing data – from a wide range of authoritative sources – which indicates otherwise. ~ Ed.
Here’s what they think actually causes it… genes and the microbiome are some of the most promising leads.

Of all the issues doctors have explored in children’s health, none has been more exhaustively researched than the question of whether vaccines are linked to autism. After hundreds and hundreds of studies in thousands of children, “We can say with almost as much certainty than anybody could ever say that vaccines don’t cause autism,” Mayo Clinic autism researcher Dr. Sunil Mehta told me. Gwyneth, watch out.
On Monday, the Food and Drug Administration announced plans to crack down on so-called “homeopathic remedies”—treatments that due to agency enforcement policy have managed to avoid regulatory oversight.
But no more, says the agency. Many of those products, it said in a statement, aren’t just herbal tea cures for a sore throat. They’re products being marketed as treatments for serious diseases—hope bottled up and sold to desperate people, without any sort of clinical evidence that they might actually work. Continue reading
Artwork by Talia Goldenberg
After enduring years of painful headaches and injuries, Talia Goldenberg — a lively, uninhibited artist — was ready for surgery to help stabilize her flexible spine.
3:46 p.m. Feb. 10, 2014
Talia Goldenberg emerged from the fog of anesthesia. The 23-year-old wiggled her toes. She wagged her feet. Good signs for a patient coming out of spinal surgery. Continue reading
